Sedna's tears.......

Found in Inuit legend across the arctic is the story of Sedna, the Northern sea Goddess. Though the stories vary from continent to continent they all agree that to become a Goddess she was betrayed, and her fingers were cut from her hands as she clung to the side of a boat. After that she became known as an angry vain entity.

This necklace is based on her tears, which were many.

Made using several bead weaving techniques. Beads include glass seed beads in crystal clear icy white, opal finish creamy white, pure white freshwater pearls, and many icy clear quartz crystals (N). Clasp is bead captured aurora borealis crystal rivoli.
